In this paper, fire resistance of natural fabrics and their composites were experimentally investigated. Special interest was given to use bio based materials such as lignin, chlorophosphates, levulinic acid cardanol in order exploit capability be utilized flame retardants. Dopamine hydrochloride polymerized polydopamine (PDA) coated jute fabric surface. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) thermogravimetric analysis (TGA)/derivative (DTG) analyses performed examine surface morphology effect PDA degradation behaviour fabrics.
